This is a West African dessert inspired by Chef Ama's upbringing in Ghana. It combines the sweetness of bananas and the richness of cashew nuts and coconut milk. The combination combines modern flavors with traditional tastes to give the dish an extra spicy kick. It’s easy to make and is guaranteed to wow your guests.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of banana chunks
  • 1 cup of chopped cashews
  • 1/2 cup of coconut milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground Allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground Cinnamon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a bowl, mix together all the ingredient and mix well.
  3. Spread the mixture onto a greased baking dish.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  5. Let cool then serve warm.
